Terms of Service

01Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using SIGNALS HQ (“the App,” “the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SIGNALS HQ (“we,” “us,” “our”).

02Description of Service

SIGNALS HQ is a portfolio tracking application that allows users to track investments across stocks, ETFs, crypto, tokens, and prediction markets. The Service provides AI-generated insights, price alerts, portfolio analytics, community features, and related tools for informational purposes only.

03Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

04User Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized account access at signalssupport@gmail.com
• Providing accurate and current account information

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

05Subscription Plans and Billing

SIGNALS HQ offers both a free plan and paid subscription plans (“Pro”). In the iOS app, subscriptions are purchased through Apple In-App Purchase and billed by Apple. On the web, subscriptions are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

5.1 Auto-Renewal. Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly) unless you cancel before the renewal date. By subscribing, you expressly authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You will be charged the then-current subscription price at the start of each renewal period.

5.2 Billing. Payment for subscriptions purchased in the iOS app is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase and is governed by Apple’s terms. For subscriptions purchased on the web, you authorize SIGNALS HQ and its payment processor (Stripe) to charge your designated payment method for all fees incurred. If your payment method fails, we may attempt to reprocess the charge and/or suspend your access to Pro features until payment is received.

5.3 Price Changes. We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing. We will provide at least 30 days’ notice of any price change via email to your registered address before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new price.

5.4 Cancellation. If you subscribed in the iOS app, cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your device. If you subscribed on the web, you may cancel through your account settings or by contacting us at signalssupport@gmail.com. Upon cancellation, you retain access to Pro features until the end of your current paid billing period. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for any portion of a billing period already paid.

5.5 Refund Policy. Refunds for subscriptions purchased through Apple are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. All other subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days of the charge at signalssupport@gmail.com and we will review your case. We reserve the right to issue refunds at our sole discretion.

5.6 Free Trial. New subscribers may receive a free trial (currently 3 days). Your subscription will automatically begin at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before the trial ends. You will be charged the applicable subscription fee at the start of the paid period.

5.7 Taxes. Subscription prices may be subject to applicable taxes based on your location. Any such taxes will be added to your total charge.

06Pro Features and Access

Pro features including AI Insight, smart alert notifications, and weekly digest emails are available to active paid subscribers only. Access to Pro features begins immediately upon successful payment and continues until the end of the paid billing period. If your subscription lapses or is canceled, Pro features will be disabled at the end of your current billing period.

07Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Attempt to bypass, circumvent, or defeat any security measures protecting the Service
• Attempt to access Pro features without an active paid subscription through any technical means
• Share, resell, or transfer your subscription or account credentials to any third party
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access or abuse the Service
• Upload false, misleading, or manipulated financial data
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users through Community features
• Post spam, promotional content, or misleading financial claims in the Community
• Impersonate any person or entity, including SIGNALS HQ staff
• Attempt to exploit, hack, or damage the Service or its infrastructure
• Use the Service in any way that could disable, overburden, or impair its infrastructure

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

08Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, AI models, brand, and content, is owned by SIGNALS HQ and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service.

09Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at signalshq.tech/privacy and incorporated herein by reference. Portfolio data you enter is stored securely and is not sold to third parties. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

10Third-Party Connections and Services

The Service integrates with third-party providers including Stripe (payment processing), Plaid (brokerage connections), Polygon.io (stock data), CoinGecko (crypto data), DexScreener (token data), Polymarket (prediction markets), Anthropic (AI), OneSignal (push notifications), Resend (email), Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), RevenueCat (subscription management), and Apple and Google (sign-in). These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party service availability, accuracy, or data practices. Any issues with payment processing should be directed to signalssupport@gmail.com.

11Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any market data, prices, or AI-generated insights. Market data may be delayed. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

12Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SIGNALS HQ and its operators, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to financial losses, loss of data, or loss of profits — arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SIGNALS HQ and its operators from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

14Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. If your account is terminated for cause, you will not be entitled to a refund of any subscription fees paid.

15Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through Profile → Delete Account. Upon deletion, all your personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. Account deletion does not automatically cancel an active subscription — you must cancel your subscription separately before deleting your account to avoid future charges.

16Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.

17Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will provide at least 14 days’ notice via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

This policy explains what SIGNALS HQ collects, how it is used, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

01Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address (or Apple’s private relay address if you choose to hide your email) and a unique account identifier. We never receive or store your Google or Apple password.

Portfolio information. Holdings, watchlists, alerts, notes and preferences you enter in the App. If you connect a brokerage through Plaid, we receive read-only holdings and balance information. We never receive or store your brokerage username or password, and we cannot place trades.

Subscription information. If you subscribe to SIGNALS Pro, your purchase is processed by Apple (in the iOS app) or Stripe (on the web). We receive your subscription status, plan and renewal dates. We do not receive or store your full payment card number.

Device and usage information. Basic technical data such as device type, operating system and app version, push notification token, and crash and diagnostic information needed to keep the App working and secure.

AI feature inputs. When you use AI features, the text of your request and the portfolio context needed to answer it are sent to our AI provider to generate a response.

Communications. If you contact support, we keep your message and email address so we can respond.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. The App is for users 18 and older.

02How We Use Information

• To provide, maintain and improve the App, including portfolio tracking, alerts and AI insights
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure
• To process subscriptions and unlock Pro features
• To send notifications you have enabled and transactional emails such as account or billing notices
• To respond to support requests
• To detect fraud, abuse and security issues, and to comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your portfolio data for advertising and we do not share it with data brokers.

03Who We Share Information With

We share information only with service providers that help us run the App, and only as needed for them to perform their service:

• Supabase: database, authentication and storage
• Vercel: application hosting
• Google and Apple: sign-in; Apple also handles in-app purchases and push delivery
• Plaid: optional read-only brokerage connections
• Stripe and RevenueCat: subscription billing and entitlement management
• Anthropic: AI features. Under Anthropic’s commercial API terms, data sent through the API is not used to train its models by default
• OneSignal: push notifications
• Resend: transactional email
• Market data providers (Polygon.io, CoinGecko, DexScreener, Polymarket): we send them ticker and asset identifiers to retrieve prices and data, not your personal information

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, to protect the rights, safety and security of our users or the public, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

04Google User Data

SIGNALS HQ’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We request only basic profile information (name, email address and profile identifier) and use it solely to create and sign you in to your account and to contact you about your account. We do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide the App as described in this policy or as required by law.

05Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the App under Profile → Delete Account. When you do, we delete your personal data and portfolio data within 30 days. Limited records may be kept longer where required by law or for legitimate purposes such as fraud prevention and billing records, and backups are overwritten on their normal cycle.

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an Apple or Stripe subscription. Cancel it separately in your Apple ID subscription settings or with Stripe. You can also request deletion by emailing signalssupport@gmail.com.

06Your Rights and Choices

You can view and edit your portfolio data and settings in the App. You may also ask for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing signalssupport@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time, and within 45 days where the law requires.

Depending on where you live (for example California or the European Economic Area), you may have additional rights, such as the right to know what data we hold, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can turn push notifications off in your device settings or in the App at any time.

07Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls and row-level security on our database. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify affected users and regulators as required by law.

08Cookies and Tracking

The website uses only essential cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

09International Transfers

We are based in the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. By using the App you understand your information may be transferred to those locations.

10Not Financial Advice

SIGNALS HQ provides information and tools for tracking and understanding your own portfolio. It does not provide investment, legal or tax advice.

11Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the App or by email.
